The textile field belongs historically to the handicraft category of manufacturing and is one of the oldest activies by which man has shaped his creativity.
Arcolaio was founded in 1958 by the Perticara family, who wrote a very important page in the history of the textile art, both for the location of their factory in the very heart of Italy and for their modern way of interpreting the old tradition the family belongs to.

Francesco Perticara is the creator of the factory mission based on permanent research and innovation. Through the years, he has been able to promote beauty as he always meant it, a primary, indispensable, democratic, but not a luxury issue and never superfluous.
Today the third generation of the Perticara family runs the factory in an innovative way, that never betrays the customer in the research, style and choice of quality and the handicraft origins of this business.
Warp and woof interweave to create fabrics that can furnish all the rooms of the house. The elegant and refined finishings represent a typical Italian style designed by Arcolaio. The wide range of bed linen, bedspreads, table linen, curtains, and towels are made only with natural fibres such as linen, cotton, wool and hemp. Both the items of the collections for furnishing the house and those for daily use are endowed with a beauty and durability which is the fruit of continuous research.

Le collezioni The Arcolaio collections are unrivalled in their accurate and refined finishings and details, which are always made according to the rules of a tradition that never fails to combine elegance and comfort.
